Recognizing that change can be difficult for many people, Clare is a compassionate and honest counsellor who aims to make the process of changing easier for her clients by using a collaborative, non-judgemental approach to empower them to take action. Her clients appreciate her straight forward style and practical approach.
Clare is a skilled listener and counsellor with many years of experience utilizing her skills in academic, not-for-profit and corporate environments. Clare’s methods are eclectic, individualized and draw from cognitive behavioural therapy, narrative therapy, and existential therapy depending on her client’s needs.
Clare is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She holds a Master of Science degree in Mental Health, Bachelor of Social Work degree as well as a Business degree, and a certificate in training adults. In her spare time she enjoys singing, knitting and volunteering for multiple organizations.
