A psychological assessment is used to help bring objectivity to a complicated assessment. Through testing we seek evidence information that impact human functioning. Such assessments are complex and labour intensive.
A psychological assessment is prepared by a qualified psychologist or psychological associate. From this they can identify issues impacting an individual’s development and/or daily functioning. A comprehensive assessment can offer realistic recommendations for self-referring individuals, parents, schools, teachers, doctors, hospitals, other caregivers, lawyers and workplaces.
Bayridge Family Center offers a wide range of assessments to children, adolescents and adults. We offer school consultations and parent education. Our child specialist will even do some assessments in the comfort of your own home.
