“Today is not your forever” – Renee Ledford

My passion is seeing my clients regain hope and pursue their lives intentionally. All too often life’s circumstances can have you so consumed that we lose sight of the light at the end of the tunnel. I journey with clients to regain clarity and separate circumstances from identity so they can rediscover who they are.

I am a registered member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I’m also a certified Life Coach and have over 15 years experience working with various client groups with an emphasis on women and adolescents. My areas of focus include: depression, anxiety, self esteem, anger management, life transitions, relationships and grief.

Utilizing strengths based and cognitive behavioural therapy modalities, my clients will receive an approach that is holistic, empathic, and non-judgemental. I have specialized training in trauma informed care and provide service from a culturally sensitive perspective where the client is the expert in their own life.

Due to various challenges that I experienced as a child I often felt I had the weight of the world on my shoulder. Therefore as a teenager and most of my childhood I suffered with depression. My experiences however also revealed my life’s purpose and incited the desire to support others experiencing their own challenges. It was only through the support of key people in my life and the grace of God that changed my outlook on life. Your relationship with your therapist is KEY to your success and therefore it would be my privilege to support you on your journey.
