Sanam Rezaei (she/her) is a Registered Social Worker and a member in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. Sanam holds a Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Waterloo.

Sanam celebrates everyone’s uniqueness. She believes everyone has the power to be their best version of themselves and that a healing therapeutic relationship can support this journey. Sanam’s counselling approach is down-to-earth, authentic, and compassionate. Sanam provides a safe, confidential, and supportive environment where you feel empowered and supported in the counselling environment.
In her work Sanam uses an eclectic mix of evidence-based approaches such as, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused, Narrative, Trauma informed, and Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Sanam applies a strength-based, client-centred approach, and tailors her therapeutic interventions according to her clients’ needs.
Sanam has experience working with diverse cultural backgrounds and works with a range of presenting issues such as stress, anxiety, depression, addictions, family and relationships issues, domestic violence, trauma, low selfesteem, and life transitions.
