Dr. Cadman is a vital part of the Bayridge Counselling Centre team. He is a graduate of Queen’s University (1974) and completed specialized training in Pediatrics and Developmental Pediatrics at McMaster University Faculty of Health Sciences (1980). His practice is focused on children and adolescents and the assessment and medication treatment of ADHD and mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and related disorders such as Tourette’s syndrome. Dr. Cadman has published numerous articles and research reports about children’s developmental and psychiatric problems.
Early in his training, Dr. Cadman saw the often-devastating consequences of these problems to children and their families and the far-reaching lifelong impact on educational, emotional, physical and spiritual wellbeing when these problems go untreated. The rewards of working with children, teenagers and their families, and enabling them to overcome challenges and obstaclesare immeasurable.
Dr. Cadman is married with three grown children and a grandson whom he spoils!
